Can I choose when to run E-Verify on new hires?
No, when an employer is registered for E-Verify all new hires must be verified as long as the employer is enrolled.
How do I enroll in E-Verify
There are two methods for enrolling in E-Verify for an employer. You may go directly to https://www.everify.gov web site, spend significant time submitting your company information, waiting for approval, taking tutorials and mastery tests all before being able to enter your first verification. The second option is to hire an employer agent, like E-Zverify.com, to handle to hassle for you.

You understand that E-ZVerify.com will act as your E-Verify Employer Agent. . Both parties agree to abide by the requirements of the “E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding for Client Employers of E-Verify Employer Agents (MoU).” We will assume that you have read and understand the MoU; and that any employee information that you send to us for verification has been sent in compliance with the MoU and this agreement.
You agree to adhere to the requirements of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
You agree to submit data from the I-9 forms of new hires between their job offer acceptance and one (1) business day after the employee presents documents to complete Section 2. E-ZVerify.com commits to its best effort to initiate verification within the time frames described in the MoU.
You authorize us to resolve all open verifications appropriately and agree to promptly provide any information required to resolve an open verification.
You understand that E-ZVerify.com will act as your E-Verify Employer Agent to the E-Verify program and not as your authorized representative in completing Form I-9. As the employer, you retain full responsibility for the accurate completion of Form I-9.
You understand that all employee information including I-9 forms submitted to E-ZVerify.com will be retained confidentially as allowed by law, subject to the MoU; the submitted data will be used solely to verify employee eligibility through E-Verify and will not be shared with any other government agency or individual except as required by the MoU.
You agree to indemnify E-ZVerify.com from any claims arising from your failure to complete Form I-9 correctly; to submit new hire information promptly; to process and resolve open cases as required; or to comply with the terms of the MoU.
You understand that this agreement can be terminated by either party with 30 days’ written notice in accordance with Section I of the MoU.
Privacy
The use of E-Verify requires the collection of personally identifiable information. It is important to protect the privacy of individuals that submit information to be processed through E-Verify. It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal information collected for E-Verify is safeguarded and used only for the purposes outlined in the “E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding for Client Employers of E-Verify Employer Agents (MoU)” between E-Verify, E-ZVerify.com and you. Failure to properly protect individuals’ information can result in identity theft or fraud and can cause considerable inconvenience, harm or embarrassment to the individuals affected. At a minimum, you must:
- Allow ONLY authorized employees to handle I-9 forms and other information related to E-Verify;
- Ensure that employees’ information is stored in a safe and secure location and that only authorized individuals have access to this information;
- Ensure that Tentative Non-Confirmation (TNC) and Final Non-Confirmation results are discussed in private with the employee.
- Only use the secure Dropbox provided to upload the verification informaiton needed.
Pricing & Refund Policy
Pricing & Charges: An initial signup fee applies, alongside a cost for each hire verification. No monthly or annual recurring charges apply to any client business. No additional fees or costs are applicable beyond what is stated here.
Hire Verification & Signup Fees: Each new hire verification costs $8.95. Signup costs amount to $29.95, which may be waived for government agencies. An optional four-hour or less “rush signup” is available for an added charge of $15. Please refer to the guaranteed details below. Our current rates and fees are available on the Pricing & Options page. Any conflicting rates, whether on this site or others, are rendered null and void.
Account Initialization: Your account will be set up within 24 hours or less following the submission of the signup form and successful payment of the signup fee if applicable. The 24-hour period excludes the hours from 5:00 pm ET on Friday to 8:00 am ET on Monday, any nationally recognized holidays, or any time when the E-Verify system is not accessible.
Electronic Correspondence: To maintain cost-effectiveness, we normally communicate via email. Any correspondence through fax or regular mail may incur an additional $1.00 fee per fax or mailing. Non-federal contractor client companies may be charged $1.00 per verification upon requesting a printout of the new hire’s E-Verify case details.
Payment Conditions: We send invoices via email weekly as charges accumulate, with a summary of charges sent at the end of each week. Payment in full is expected within 14 days of receiving the weekly summary. We accept payments through check, credit or debit card.
Privacy: E-Verify requires the collection of personally identifiable information. Protecting the privacy of individuals who submit information for E-Verify processing is crucial. You are responsible for ensuring the security and appropriate use of all personal information collected for E-Verify as outlined in the “E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding for Client Employers of E-Verify Employer Agents (MoU)” between E-Verify, E-ZVerify, LLC and you. Failure to safeguard individual’s information can result in identity theft or fraud, causing significant inconvenience, harm, or embarrassment to those affected.
Agreement: By accepting the rates and terms listed above, you agree to timely payment for services rendered.
You understand that this agreement can be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice in accordance with Section I of the MoU.
You understand that we reserve the right to suspend service for failure to pay for services rendered. Suspension of your account and failure to verify new hires according to the MoU can result in penalties including fines and suspension of your business license. We consider an account subject to suspension when there are unpaid invoices older than 30 days.
Rush Signup: We promise to create your E-Verify account within four hours from the time you submit the required information. However, we cannot guarantee account activation, which depends on your signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. If you submit enrollment after 9:00 PM your E-Verify account will be created no later than 11:00 AM ET the next business day. If we are unable to fullfill this promise we will, upon request, promptly refund your Rush Signup payment. Our liability for failure to meet the four-hour deadline is limited to the refund of the Rush Signup Fee ($15). The four-hour guarantee does not apply to enrollments submitted between 9:00PM ET Friday to 8:00AM ET on Monday, on Nationally Recognized Holiday, or at any time the E-Verify System is unavailable.
